Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries, scheduled to take place between June 6 and June 8, the ruling All Progressives Congress on Monday commenced the screening of its presidential aspirants. The two-day screening exercise is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. 

 The screening committee which is led by the former National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, swung into action on Monday screening very important aspirants including, the Asiwaju of Lagos Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi. Other aspirants screened among the eight of them screened as at press time include,  Tunde Bakare, Uju Kennedy Ohanenye,  Nicholas  Felix Nwagbo, Sani Yerima, and Senator Ajayi Boroface, and  Gov. Dave Umahi.
