As the four day retreat by the Nigerian Armed forces comes to a close in Asaba the Delta state capital, the Chief of Defense Staff Gen. Lucky Irabor has urged Nigerians to continue to have confidence in the armed forces in tackling insecurity challenges.

He made the remarks while fielding questions from newsmen at the multipurpose event centre in Asaba on the outcome of the retreat.

Gen. Lucky Irabor said the take-home from the retreat is a renewed commitment to the ability of the Nigerian armed forces to bring peace and security to Nigeria.

Meanwhile, as senior officers and men of the armed forces comprising the Army, Navy and the Airforce return to their different bases, one would expect a thorough implementation of the strategy in tackling banditry, insurgency and other forms of criminal activities.
