Governorship candidate of the Labour party in the just concluded Governorship election in Edo State Olumide Akpata, has attributed vote buying as the major cause of manipulation.

The Labour party candidate made this known in Benin city, while briefing journalists on his position after the elections.

According to him, the foundation of the manipulations recorded during the elections was vote buying.
