Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has inspected the Port Harcourt waterfront which was once a tourist site before hoodlums took over the beach.

Governor Fubara who was accompanied to the waterfront by security operatives and heads of government agencies, inspected the structures which have been turned into shanties by occupants.

Speaking on the tour, the Rivers state governor said it is in line with the vision of a new Port Harcourt city. He cautioned the youths against sabotaging the contractor that will handle the project.
