The World Bank has assured Oyo state government of its continuous support concerning various ongoing projects across the state.

The leader of the Bank's delegation to Oyo State, Foluso Okumadewa who gave the assurance during a visit to Governor Seyi Makinde stated that world bank is ready to support and government and is ready to put some strategies and action plans in speeding up the projects for the benefits of the masses.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Governor Seyi Makinde on his part promised to channel all the assistance the state would be getting from the world bank to tackle poverty in Oyo state.

He, however, implored the delegation from the world bank to make use of all the assistance rendered to the benefit of the people of the state.

The projects that may receive assistance from the world bank include community and social development, Education for all project among others.
