The situation later led to a misunderstanding between the Hausa and Yoruba traders which led to a bloody clash in the market early this morning during which 15 persons were injured.

Some of the eyewitnesses who spoke with journalists blamed the crisis on external forces adding that it was unfortunate.

The commissioner of police in the state, Shina Olukolu who led other officers of the command to the scene speaks on the crisis. He appealed to leaders and traders in the market to remain united, adding that that the command would not condone lawlessness.
