The Rivers state police command has paraded arrested and wanted suspected serial killer Gracious David-West at the state police headquarters in Port-Harcourt.

The suspect who is said to be behind the majority of the killings of women in hotels across the state capital is said to be a member of a cult group Degbam which is notorious for criminal activities and cult-related killings in the state.

Speaking on the landmark arrest, the Rivers police commissioner Mustapha Dandaura said his directive for hotels to install CCTV cameras led to the arrest.

Narrating how he kills his victims, the suspect who was in a sober mood said he was behind some killings in Lagos and other states.

Eight women have so far been killed by the serial killer in the Rivers state capital alone, while the parade of the suspect according to some women civil organizations who protested the killings will go a long way in arresting the situation.
